Most organizations create a culture where personnel and staff are effective in accomplishing the organizational mission. These same individuals, however, are often ineffective when promoted to supervisors and managers in their practice of recognized leadership skills such as communication and dealing with problems and problem employees and managers. Why do effective individuals become ineffective at practicing what we all know as leadership attitudes and behaviors? This program examines factors such as training, ineffective modeling, loss of relational connection and accountability- and how to turn these factors around to cultivate effective leaders.

Jack Enter has been associated with leadership development and training for 42 years. He has lectured throughout the United States and a dozen other countries and authored two books on leadership. He has served in leadership positions in law enforcement, the military, and in academia. Much of his presentation is based on information that attendees have shared informally during the breaks in his classes.

Most importantly, he has done a dozen climate surveys in which he interviewed over one thousand people concerning problems in their organizations. Most of these responses were the same and have not improved over the years. His recordings have been followed on LinkedIn by hundreds of individuals worldwide.
