About the presentation: Small businesses may fail to scale due to lack of access to resources. Often times, partnering with local technical colleges and universities is not included in discussions when exploring options to scale a business. However, technical colleges and universities are a good resource for small businesses seeking talent, development, and funding support. This session will highlight various ways that small businesses can expand capabilities by partnering with higher education institutions to build a talent pipeline, provide upskilling opportunities for current employees, and to pursue research and grant funding.
