Description

Join Josh Nelson with Nelson Elder Care Law to discuss "When Caregiving Gets Legal: What Families Need to Know Before It’s Too Late".

Presentation Bio: Caring for an aging parent or loved one is more than just doctor visits and daily support; it often means stepping into unexpected legal territory. Having the right legal tools can make the difference between smooth decision-making and costly court battles. In this session, Josh Nelson will share practical insights on the legal tools every caregiver should have in place and how families can avoid the most common pitfalls.

Speaker Bio: Josh Nelson, JD, is the CEO and Owner of Nelson Elder Care Law. With advanced training in both law and taxation, he has spent over a decade helping Georgia families protect their loved ones and their assets during life’s most difficult transitions. Since founding his firm in 2014, Josh has guided more than 7,000 families through the legal and financial challenges of caring for aging parents. As Vice Chair of the Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, he frequently speaks to caregivers, professionals, and community groups about the practical steps families can take to reduce stress, prevent crisis, and plan with confidence.
