Dr. Michael Shannon, President of the University of North Georgia, The Military College of Georgia, will present the February program. With about 20,000 students, UNG is one of the state's largest public universities with five campuses united by a single mission focused on academic excellence. Dr. Shannon, a retired U.S. Army officer, joined UNG in 2023 and formerly served as interim chief business officer at the Georgia Institute of Technology. ung.edu
